Management Training starts with knowing where you stand

Most organisations invest in leadership development without first diagnosing the real gaps. Our interactive checklist reveals exactly where your management capability needs attention — before you spend a penny on training.

Your development journey with us

1

Diagnostic conversation

We meet your senior team to understand culture, current capability, and strategic direction. The checklist above gives you a head start — bring your score to the call.

2

Gap analysis and design

Using interview data, engagement metrics, and observed behaviours, we map priority development areas onto our capability framework and design a bespoke programme.

3

Delivery and practice

Workshops, coaching, and action-learning sets run over an agreed timeline. Managers practise new behaviours between sessions with structured challenges and peer accountability.

4

Impact review

We measure behavioural change, team feedback shifts, and business-level outcomes. A closing report documents progress and recommends next-phase priorities.

"Before working with Progressive Mgmt Guide, our newly promoted managers were essentially left to figure things out alone. The structured transition programme gave them confidence, practical tools, and — critically — permission to ask for help. Within three months, our internal promotion retention rate went from roughly sixty percent to over ninety." — Head of people, mid-size tech company, Belfast

Working principles that guide every programme

Behaviour over theory

We teach frameworks only when they unlock a specific behaviour change. Every model introduced in a session is practised, applied, and reflected upon before the day ends.

Context over curriculum

No two organisations are alike. We adapt language, case studies, and exercises to your sector, scale, and culture rather than delivering a generic syllabus.

Sustainability over spectacle

A brilliant workshop that fades in a fortnight is wasted investment. Our programmes embed follow-up coaching, peer accountability, and manager toolkits that keep momentum alive.

Questions we hear often

Most programmes span four to twelve weeks, depending on scope. A focused first-time manager cohort might be three half-days over six weeks; a comprehensive leadership development initiative could run six months with quarterly review points.

Yes. We run live virtual workshops via Zoom or Teams with the same interactive exercises, breakout activities, and coaching follow-ups. Many clients choose a blended model — an in-person kick-off day followed by virtual follow-up sessions.

We work with teams from as few as five managers up to enterprise-wide rollouts of several hundred. The diagnostic and design process scales — we simply adjust group sizes, cohort frequency, and coaching ratios.

We do, typically as a complement to a broader programme. Individual coaching packages run in blocks of six or twelve sessions, with a structured goal-setting framework and 360-degree feedback integration.

We quote per engagement based on scope, participant numbers, and delivery format. There are no hidden fees. After the diagnostic conversation we provide a transparent proposal with itemised costs and optional add-ons.
